Terms of use
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms govern the use of GoScratch. By creating an account, you accept them. They describe the service as it currently operates.
1. Service publisher
GoScratch is published by Wissem Hadhri, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) — French micro-enterprise (micro-BNC regime), whose registered office is at 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France, registered under SIREN 101 759 082. Contact: contact@goscratch.h2wi.fr.
2. Purpose of the service
GoScratch produces short videos from a topic you provide. The service chains together script writing, voice-over synthesis, stock media selection, subtitling and editing, then makes a video file available to you.
The service does not publish your videos for you. Once the generation is complete, you download the file and publish it yourself on the platform of your choice. Any automated publishing feature will be subject to an update of these terms before being offered.
3. Account
Access to the service requires an account, created and managed through our authentication provider Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for actions taken from your account. The service is reserved for persons of legal age.
4. Subscription, quotas and top-ups
Each plan is a subscription that allocates a number of videos per month. This allocation is renewed each period and does not carry over from one month to the next.
Top-ups may be purchased at any time to add videos beyond the monthly allocation. Videos from a top-up are not reset at the change of period and remain available until they are used.
A credit is deducted when a generation is actually started, and only once per generation.
5. Failures and credit refund
Where a generation fails for a cause attributable to us — an internal service defect or a failure of one of our providers — the credit used is automatically refunded to you, with no action required on your part.
The credit is not refunded, however, where the failure results from the data you provided, or where you interrupt a generation you have already started, as processing resources will then have been used.
6. Your validations
The service submits the generated script, then the selected media, and waits for your validation before proceeding. You may regenerate the script or replace media, within the limits shown in the interface.
These validations are recorded — their date and subject — in order to establish what was approved and when. This traceability protects you as much as it protects us.
7. Content, rights and liability
The topic and files you provide remain your property. You warrant that you hold the rights necessary for the files you upload.
The stock media come from third-party libraries and are subject to their providers’ licences, indicated in the interface at the validation stage.
As the content is produced automatically, it may contain inaccuracies. It is your responsibility to check a video before distributing it, in particular where it states facts, figures or information liable to influence decisions.
Subject to the stock-media licences mentioned above, you hold the rights to use the produced video and may exploit it for your own purposes; GoScratch claims no ownership over the videos you generate. In accordance with the transparency obligations applicable to generative AI systems, you are informed that this content is produced by an automated process, on a best-efforts basis and without any warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. You remain solely responsible for its use and distribution, and undertake to comply with the law and the rights of third parties (intellectual property, copyright, image rights, personal data).
8. Prohibited uses, reporting and moderation
- produce unlawful, hateful or defamatory content, or content infringing the rights of third parties;
- produce misleading content presented as originating from a real person or organisation;
- impersonate a third party or suggest an affiliation, partnership or official origin that does not exist;
- use the service for fraudulent, deceptive or scam purposes, or to compromise the security of third parties;
- circumvent the quotas, the authentication or any technical limitation of the service;
- resell access to the service or operate it in an automated manner without written authorisation.
Reporting. Any user may report content or an account to support@goscratch.h2wi.fr. We may remove manifestly unlawful content and close an account in the event of abuse.
Cooperation with the authorities. Where the law requires it, or to respond to a request from a competent administrative or judicial authority, we may retain and disclose the strictly necessary elements (account data, security technical logs), in compliance with applicable regulations and our privacy policy.
9. Availability
The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Generation times depend on load and on the providers involved, and are given for indicative purposes only.
10. Termination and suspension
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you retain access until then. We may also suspend an account in the event of non-payment.
In the event of a serious or manifest breach of these terms, in particular fraud, identity theft, scam, unlawful use of the service or any other criminal activity, GoScratch may suspend or terminate the account immediately, without notice. No refund of sums already paid will be due, save where a mandatory legal provision provides otherwise.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution of any dispute, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory protective rules applicable to consumers, who remain free to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of domicile.
12. Amendments
These terms may change together with the service. Any amendment is published on this page with an update to the date shown at the top.
